Low-temperature belt drying
Dries sludge to 92% dry solids at low energy consumption.
Drying is the step that turns wet sludge into a manageable raw material. It works at low temperature, and the heat can come from the plant itself.
Why it matters
- Every extra percent of dry solids means less weight to haul and fewer truck runs.
- Dried sludge can be stored, which frees the plant from the collection schedule.
- Without good drying, the thermal step after it works poorly or not at all.
